About Friends of Bradford Resource Centre
Friends of Bradford Resource Centre is a Community Interest Company, set up in 2024, with the aims of clearing the building of the old Bradford Resource Centre to enable it to be repurposed, ensuring anything of archival value is preserved and celebrating this period in Bradford’s history.
We have six directors who are all actively involved in the project and a mailing list of over 80 – including over 40 people who have volunteered their time on the work sessions we have held to date.
We are grateful for the support of the Lipman-Miliband Trust, Bradford City of Culture (BD25) and British Art Network (BAN) who have grant funded some of our activities. These grants have enabled us to commission a documentary film, oral histories, and an exhibition, as well as working with archivists to record and preserve the unique history of Bradford Resource Centre.
We have also worked closely with the People's Property Portfolio in facilitating the transfer of the building so it could be renovated and re-purposed for the benefit of the community.

Please support our work in preserving the history of Bradford Resource Centre and facilitating the re-purposing and renovation of the building so it can provide an invaluable community resource for years to come.
